For anyone other than the one that posted the question, you can use the tools listed in the other post on a rotary tool. They come out of the handles with a set screw. Just be careful using a rotary with your hex screw tools. They can strip your bead lock screws and others fast! Or you can put them in a drill and set the impact setting so that when they get snug it won't strip the hole.

We use dynamite's with the red aluminum handle at the store... You'll occasionally break a tip on the small ones, but they have held up very well with over 2 years of daily use.

No, call EDS tell him what you want 5 days later the tools are in your mailbox. You get what you pay for IMO and EDS is worth every cent. I have been using mine three years without any problems at all. All the tool tips look new still.
I have the 1.5,2.0,2.5,3.0,4.0,5.5 nut driver,7.0 nut driver, Flat head, Phillips head, body reamer, and a 17 mm hex wrench for 1/8 buggies.

OK.

Thanks for all your help man..
Maybe I can get him or someone to help me piece together a kit Identical to the Integy kit and even put in a nice case too.. THAT WOULD BE TITS.. Im gonna need it mobile, and need necessary tools to do all mods a 2.2 requires. See I just don't have a clue besides knowing I need a screwdriver set and assortment of allens and little shock wrenches but sizes are beyond me at this time...

Finally got all new tool equipment/rotary-welder/ over here and yesterday we fixed this cripple kid from therapy's car that needed some welding/deans plugs/new screw and she was back up and running......MAN it was nice to have everything we needed to get job done and help her out..
I was a little worried.
She and her dad saw my new DX7 Radio with the "modified pencil extensions" for driving and they were pretty impressed with function and what we are trying to do over here....
Now it's time for first hospital run......

OHH CRAP.....Another tool I havent even heard of!

Damn... See this probably wouldn't be such a problem if I knew what the crap we actually need!

I've only built to cars so far so I don't know jack of what we need........

After today's R1 Build now I need a hobby/table vise too.........
DAMN THIS PLACE IS NEW TOOL CASAVERDE

I don't mind paying, actually I only buy best but if your a damn newb and you don't know what to run out and buy then you mess up and buy a junk but "COMPLETE KIT"

I don't understand with all these tool company's how come they don't have an assortment kit like Integy's 149.99 tool kit?

BTW
Anyone got ideas on a hobby/table vise

I found a wilton $45 looks legit

EDS HUH..
Well alot of people own/recommend them.
I really want hudy's now/DAMN IT.......

You probably know what your needing, me im lost cause im not even sure what allens we are using!

I know we need allens, sockets, screw drivers etc but I'll just order what everyone else is i suppose.

Sure wish somebody could take a second and list only "NEEDED 2.2 TOOLS"
Sure would help out alot of newbs and keep them from buying integyy kit..

Ive searched I don't see a huge tool poll/list/positives/negatives etc..
I want to set one up

Most kits requires a 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm hex driver. A 7mm nut driver is recommended for the wheels nuts. Other than that, you will need a Phillips/Flathead screw drivers and a set of needle nose pliers.

I got integys metric drivers set and for what i use them for, they are really nice. Only thing is that i wish i had them when i was building my creeper, as i destroyed the ones i had(in the fold out handle thing). For wheelnuts mostly i use a Blue-Point Cordless Screwdriver and Various Snap-On tools for everything else

Duratrax sell this set. I have their hex drivers and they are good quality. They also have replacealble tips. Here's their whole set with pouch. My buddy has this and it's nice to have it all in one spot.
