They are expensive but the MIP Thorp ones are by far and away the best ones I have found out there and in my opinion are worth the money!

They fit great and since I have been using them I rarely ever strip a screw.

wiha tools are good, its the handles i really don't like, too small and not too much grip. If it had a diamond knurled handle then they would be awesome. Thats why i got a set of THS allens

For put-it-in-the-pocket-take-it-with-me I like a set of Bonhus L-wrenches I picked up at a yardsale for a buck. Quality steel, ball ends that don't strip easily and compact.

For bench work I have a set of "Samurai" drivers that I've been using for a couple of years and only broken the smallest one (overtorqueing set screws will do it every time...) and got a set of five for about twenty bucks. They have knurled handles, are light weight, have replaceable tips, and look good in black.

Probably not the best in the world, but they suit me well.

I must add that I have broken several Duratrax tips. Both the super small ones and a couple 1.5mm ones.

Snap-On

Expensive but worth it, especially for the ones you use the most (1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm)

Craftsman .......I have rounded off a bunch of them changing out tires on plastic bead locks. Same with a Matco.

Snap on has held up so far. I am going to try the Intergy or Losi.
Glad this post came up for some real world info.

Craftsman. I've rounded the ends off and they (Sears) exchange the entire used set for an entire new set, no questions asked and no reciept needed.

I've been using the integies but have broken the tips of a 1/16 and the smallest one .005 i believe, white. Proably my fault for wrenching to fast but i think they are a touch too brittle. Once my next one breaks i'm gonna buy a different set. Probably losi or snap-on if i can ever catch the dealer.

+1.... these have been around for a long time and i don't think many people try them because of the hype surrounding the hudy tools! by far the best tools made for rc.

I have had the integy ones for a couple years. I know people often bag on integy stuff, but for me they have been great wrenches. I have broke 1 1/16, but I think the replacement tip was only $3

Say away from the duratrax hex's.. snapped the 2mm off in a few months and the 1.5mm seems to get stuck inside the fastners. I have some dubros too and they hold up well but the 2mm and 1.5mm handles are tiny..

going to try these http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...x-Driver-Set-6 seems like a good price and they have a 3yr warranty.

I have the Losi hex tool set and have been pretty happy with it for more than the last year or so. The smallest I use (1.5 mm) looks like it may be starting to wear on the corners, but continues to tighten pinion set screws nicely. The larger ones all still look pristine. Overall, I'm comfortable recommending them.

I've had a set of Racer's Edge for almost 10 years now and have never stripped one yet. For other sizes I like the Losi wrenches, even though they're kind of pricey.
