| Length formula for DIY allthread/tube links w Revo ends
If this is in the wrong place, please move it. I just made metal links using 8/32" all thread and 1/4" brake line for my Honcho. I used Revo link ends, so these numbers are based on the Revo link ends. For the all thread: Figure out your total length eye to eye that you want your link to be. Then subtract .575" and that will be the length to cut your all thread. If you are metric it would be 14.605 mm. For the brake line/tubing: Figure out your total length eye to eye that you want your link to be. Then subtract 1.33" and that will be the length to cut your tubing. If you are metric it would be 33.782 mm. Then just slide the tubing over the all thread and screw the Revo ends on! Should be dead on! Hope this may help someone. Once I figured out these numbers it was really fast to make all the parts. |

I use 5525 end links. U can get more thread into them. Then use 1/4 poly tubing instead of break line and it slides like delrin on the rocks. Great post!
