Default What washer are you guys using for the solid axle conversion

For those of you that converted to the solid front axle that is shown in this thread A complete start to finish Maxx build. He says it was a 3/4 inch bolt but the flange on mine seems to measure 13/16 and I dont think there are washers that measure that.

I like to use 1" washers. the inside hole fits nice and snugg around the maxx diffs.. on the outside I use 1" ASE(?) the hole is still 1" but the outter edge is smaller in diamater then a "normal" 1" washer.

so it doesnt matter if the inside hole is bigger than the flange on the maxx diff?

not really..
Since I genereally slide it over the "lip" of the diff it's about the perfect diamater to keep it tight. then use long bolts with spacers to keep the newly made solid axles in place.
The tubing that I use is found in the electronics section at lowes/homedepot. 1" calvanized steel. it's fairly light wheight and fits the application.

If you search around you should be able to find a couple pics of how they look.
