| Project Flexx-Maxx *update #5* / video p. 2 / Jumbo Kongs
Hi there! I started to modify my E-Maxx some time ago. Crawling stuff like the Traxxas spool or a 12/76 transmission were built in and togehther with the cut Savage-tires my Maxx was crawling very well. But that was not enough for me, I wanted a 4ws-steering. So I took 2 chassis-plates, cut them apart and used the front ends of each plate. For more travel height the two halfs are screwed on one point together. And this is an actual picture: (Klick on the picture for the gallery!) More to come tomorrow. Iīll use turnbuckles from the FG Marder to stabalize the chassis. Travel limiter will also be buid in... Hope you like it... Manuel |

With my maxx, my links would allways pull out, U suggest you setup some kind of solid stop, so instead of the links stopping themselfs, you have a chunck of metal that the chassis will hit and stop it's self.

Japp, I know. Iīll use two Maxx-shocks as travel limiters. If one shock fully damps in, the chassis will stop rotating. Easy thing... Manuel |

Something new today... Klick on the picture for the gallery! Itīs not aluminium 7045 or stuff like that. Itīs just low cost and made with the stuff I had at home. It works - everything else is uninteresting... Manuel PS: A little story from today: I need a second servo so I went to a seller 20 kilometers away because my homedealer inmy town is on vacation. So I drove therefor and was standing like a wet dog in front of the door: "On vacation from 09.08. till 21.08." WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! 8O Anyway, I ordered the servo online... |

Allright, whatch this: Thereīs a video from a local meeting with arround 40 guys or so. Many different models like Savage, EK4, T-Maxx, TNX, FG Marder and electric models like Dyna Storm, E-Maxx and also little crawlers like the Tamiya XC. One selfemade crawler based on XC-measures was also there. My Flexx-Maxx appeares at 05:00 and 21:30. But whatch the whole video īcause we had a lot of fun there... ;) Filesize is about 69MB WMV. http://www.warbirds-mfc.de/upload/FT5.wmv Hope you like it. Manuel |
