Default drive shafts

ok im building a maxx crawler and i need some drive shafts. stock 3.3 tmaxx shafts are to short( the long ones). is there a way to modify them to make them longer or how do i make my own shafts?

but, I'm just a newb, so there might be other options.

You do know those are itty bitty Pede shafts right? They'll work for a 2.2 crawler just fine. They won't last 2 seconds in a super. Go with Revo shafts and forget about it.

so you'd buy 3 pairs of those shafts so that you can cut them up and make 2 longer shafts? Or I guess you could buy 2 axle shafts, which would probably need to be shortened, and then swap the stub shaft out for a knuckle.
