Ha! I just noticed that! I had a blast, I know you did too, glad I met all of you guys, we gotta do it again.

I did strip one of my steering servo horns on Saturday. I am going to go to one strong servo and put the aluminum steering bell crank on it next. also, I am going to get a new body (clear) and get some lexan paint to do it right. My paint job looked sweet at first but its all cracking off now.

sweet truck! i had a older summit that i sold not to long ago (needed money, didnt run it much due to lack of suitable terrain and others to run with) and am greatly regretting that decision!! i ALMOST bought my next one (brushless) off ebay, but couldnt watch the end and lost it by 5 freakin bucks. cant wait till i can get my next one, always wanted to go brushless (sensored)

I love your summit. If I had realized they could of had been this bad ass then I would not of sold mine. Oh well. This forum on the other hand has allot of hostility for everyone in here to love summits you'd never know it.

Bahh. Truth is these summits are a larger scale than 90% of these other crawlers. Yea they get a bad rap for not being crawlers. Yea sure they aren't comp worthy but they will follow almost everywhere. Then run their ass over and throw roosters through the mud and wheelie off. That's before you throw in a brushless system.

I really dig the look of your Summit. I think its one of top 5 Summits on this forum. I've been lurking here for a while and think I have decided on a summit.

Do you have any regrets. All my buddys have rear steer comp crawlers so I'm expecting to get a lot of hate from them.

We are also into 1:1's as I'm almost finished with my LS1/TH400/Stak 3 speed, D60/14b coilover'd 79 Toyota PU on 42" Iroks. I wish I could afford a Summit, Revo, and a comp crawler...

No regrets really, I love the thing, anywhere I take it people are amazed asking questions about it. It's a head turner. Don't worry about what friends say about you having a summit. Do what you want, it's not there choice.

In a way, I regret having it no longer waterproof, but it makes up for it.

How have the mip's holded up?

well the mip dogbone on mine are going v well i have run it 8pack on 6s and no damage whit the stock dogbone on 6s they only last 1pack ;) so its gd stuff on my wraith to i got the mip shaft and they are v solide i run it whit a pro4 3300kv and no probleme there too mip is very realibale u dont pay for bad stuff

youll still break gears witht he aluminum cup, i sent my gears out to get heat treated at a heat treating factory close to where i work, now no more problems. well after they melted the first set i sent them

I bought hardened gears when I bought the aluminum cups.
