| GTS Long shocks - Bump Stops??!
Picked up a set of the long GTS shocks only to find this half inch long bump stop taking up a ton of travel. Is there any real reason to keep these on?? Is it something to do with limiting fluid compression?! Seems like a waste of perfectly good travel to keep them on...what's the point of longer shocks then?!

I believe it has to do with limiting travel for the long arm kit so it doesnt hit the lowered servo mount. My research on the shocks suggets the shaft is 10mm longer and the body is 10mm longer so you should be able to just remove the bump stops and use the full travel. Ive been getting ready to try longer shocks, but not the long GTS ones. I already bought some taller shock towers. | |
