Drilled and 3mm taped the passenger side mounting hole for the tire carrier. By my measurements i knew it wouldn't be centered but i am ok with that.

Then the next task was to finger out the Driver side mount. There is a post that goes into a bracket on the bumper it was designed for but i had no bracket so thought i could flip it, drill a small hole and then just simply pin it. Um Yeah no that didn't work.

Scratched my head a little and made a little bracket out of Alum, drilled and taped it for a 2.5mmbolt. Will grind of the parts shaded in black and be done with it.

Thanks Man. I appreciate the comment. Slowly but surely it's getting done.

Got a RC3WD Warn 9.5cti winch for cheap so through that on the front bumper. More than likely i will run a HeyOk controller but not sure which one yet.

The hook is too small for RC3WD King Kong Large shackles so i will be on l the lookout for the King Kong Large hook. In the meantime just like my 1:1 i used the offroad Noob pull strap to hold the hook.

** Anyone have any tips on how to seal the stickers so they don't peel off?

I was wondering if clear lacquer nail varnish would be suitable.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that on a old sticker to see the reaction if any.

Thanks Stew. Nothing is a bolt on even if designed for it so have to think outside of the box a little.

Weather has been good just no real free time to do a extended run like i want with the Tactical body to get a baseline. Only backyard stuff. Very soon though.

Picked up these little emblem sticks when I finish the body. Not sure if they will last but very very detailed.

Finished the mock up of the China PL Interior. Used some LockedUp Scale bolts to hold it in. The rear can be used of i decide to do rear corner armor later. My old 1:1 interior was gray so i will be doing the same with this one. Need to cut the rear wheel well out but basically done.

Finished my first attemp at using an airbrush. Rattle can is easier for sure but i can see with lots of practice this could be good for the little touches. Wanted to paint the window seals black but after trying the airbrush i think i will stick to the stickers for now. Will give it a shot on the next one once i get more control.

Flares turned out Meh! Good but not with my OCD good. Will tint the windows tomorrow.

I appreciate you asking. Sorry no updates. Still in the same spot on the bench.

Fortunately there are quit a few already done so at least nobody is waiting on me for part R&D then production.

Work and family life is always busy like most but this year and the last few months have been the worst. My company has doubled in size in less than 4mo and the internal fun of new employees, payroll, customers etc comes along with it. Soooo much fun.

Like all my projects I won't do it half ass. My OCD won't let that happen. Crossing my fingers as mid October to the end of the year is closing projects so much slower and hope to finish it then.
