Default Weird issue with TRX4 Sport kit

There seems to be a weird issue with my TRX4 Sport kit which is easier to notice during low speeds. Actually in higher speeds it doesn't happen that much. There is some kind of pause for a second while the car is running. I've chcked the diff gears and all seem fine. Could this be a transmition problem?

Are your driveshafts in sync?

Do you have a video showing the issue?

It's technically called being in phase. I forgot the terminology in my first post. This photo will explain it.

Is this even a thing with the TRX4 since it doesnt have U-joints?

It is, and iirc there are dashes on the ends of the driveshaft to line them up in the center.

They are, they're just masked with that "ball", but if you look closely the two pins form the joint and both ends are a fork. So they're just a bit fancier than that drawing... ;) It is crucial they're aligned with that mark in the center. But it is not what i would say a pause while driving. You'll notice the slow/fast/slow/fast jiggle, but that's it. If the joints are aligned please post a video.

Just finished the kit build ( no electronics yet) but I'm having the same issue just rolling it across the table. Rolls smooth, then there's some resistance, then smooth again. It seems there's resistance once every full tire revolution.
I checked the axels ans the dashes are lined up. The kit went together nicely, no problems when building ( this is my first kit so I might not have noticed any imperfections). Anyone know what the problem might be?

Disassemble your drivetrain component by component while turning things until you find the part that is binding.

The skid rubs on the drive shaft right near the T-case output (when stock). Im gonna see if I can dig up a picture but I think it was the rear. You need to make a bit more space for it to clear.

Here's the post, the rest of that thread is worth a read too if this is your issue.

Anyone else hate the driveshafts?
