New stance for the SportCY! Cut the vertical part of the fenders and raised the rocksliders with some aluminium tube spacers around 10mm.
I love the new look and i won't be cutting anymore of the brand new ,never seen the outside body.
I am not happy with the shocks though. They are very sticky.
I read and seen a few fixes on youtube but i am not comfortable working with shocks and i don't have any green slime or whatever you are all using.
I order a tube from amain and 20w oil and i will try to give it a shot when i have them. Delivery in this small island should be a quick 30days...
Anyway here is the new stance

I just loosened the nut on the bottom of the shock to remove the stickyness. Haven’t had any leaks either. A little goes a long way. I’d start at an 8th of a turn ccw and see how you like it. I think that nut holds the orings and compresses them on the shock shaft. From the factory they’re too tight.

Thanks Aggie11.
I couldn't take it anymore with the shocks so i am currently trying to rebuild them. I took the two in the back out and dissasembled them. I filed down the black spacer between the 2 orings, since i don't have a slightly smaller spacer in hand. No more than 0.2 to 0.3mm.
The bottom cup was indeed very tight, especially on one of the shocks.
I will put them back together now, adding 30w oil.
The springs that came with the sport are 0.3 on all 4 corners.
I ordered 2 with the 0.22 rate ( yellow) and i will try them in the front.

Does someone have pictures of the vanquish rear bumper on the back of a Sport?

That BOM bumper looks perfect on there!

Would you, please, do me a huge favor and measure the width of the bumper?

I think I'm going to order a BOM bumper for my trx4 sport. I like this better than the Vanquish bumper

Yes i think it looks nicer.
The clearance on the back is not so good with the stock rear bumper and i don't want to cut the body to go up or in.
I am thinking of ordering the vanquish bumpers for the rear.
Anyone has any other suggestions??

"I don't like the brass colour, but it will do for now. Maybe i will find something to blackened them out in the future"

Pick up some Brass Black from Amazon. It works awesome to blacken out Brass.

Thanks my friend.
Truth is i kinda like it now. I think its because it matches the colour of the truck and kind of looks like rotors from inside the wheel

Well i think i fixed the departure angle.
I haven't seen this before.
I love how this turned out and it even keeps the lexan body tight in its place.
The bumper is now all the way tucked in on a flipped front bumper mount.

I kinda like the bumper tucked under the body like that.

Do the cut front tyres really make a big difference?

I don't really know. I cannot go out and test it for now due to health issues. When i can i will test it. Feedback from a lot of guys in here is good regarding this mod.

I didn't like the performance of the servo when i tested it on the bench ( by testing i mean i pushed the front down and turned the wheels, nothing that involves mathematics)so i bought a hobbywing 1080 from my lhs.
I plan on running it at 7.4v.
Anybody else running the sport at 7.4v? I am asking if its ok for the receiver.
Also on order are a 45t spur gear with slipper eliminator plates and a 12t pinion.
TRA8053- spur gear 45t
TRA6485X-pinion gear 12t
TRA8249 -slipper eliminator plate.
HH Crawlmaster 12t and underdrive gears are coming too.
I thought i wasn't going to mess with it too much....
