| Trx4 castle system
So I got my hands on a 3800kv motor and a mamba x esc I've never really understood gearing to well was wonder what pinion gear you would recommend and would I have to change any other hears or will the stock ones be fine Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk |

Th smallest pinion you can use is a 9T. Your other option is underdrive gears (ring/pinion) in the axles. Even at that, a 3800 is going to very be fast. You'll probably want to use Castlink software to adjust your throttle curve. Is the 3800 a sensored motor?

Thats good. I'd at least get the 9T pinion. If you us 2S it might not be too fast. I've only used 3S for quite some time and that thing will rip. If you have those tall Boggers on it that will also increase it's top end. Watch your temps. You can limit your motors power output with castle link software too. I've never dropped it below 100% but you may find it useful in this case.

2800KV would be a better choice for the TRX4.
