Default GPM Racing pendulum weights installation issue

Good morning everyone. I bought a pair of these https://www.gpmracing.com.hk/en/prod...3302&fid=&cat= but i have some issues installing them on the stock portals of the sport kit. The wheels won't screw correctly in place. Is there a way to make the shaft longer or something? Or maybe someone here uses the weights on his truck?

What wheels are you using? Adding weights to the already large portal box's might leave too little room for wheels, you may need different wheels. I like SSD's steel wheels, they have just about the max amount of clearance you can get from a 1.9" wheel.

Alternatively you could extend the track width with wider wheel Hex's, though at a certain point it becomes detrimental to the steering.

MIP makes a kit to extend the track width but IMO this is far too wide and steering will definitely suffer, these also introduce body rub/clearance issues due to the tire taking a larger arc https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/mip18260.htm

Or you can do like I've done on one build and file the weights until it clears the wheels you want to use.

Stock trx4 wheels. According to GPM they should work with stock wheels. Well if you check out the link you'll see that the weights come with 9mm hexes.
