Hey guys, i may be moving to salt lake pending a job offer. what are some decent parts of town with reasonable rent? what neighborhoods are mellow? i am not sure what part of town my job is in yet i am just putting out a feeler or two. any help would be awesome! thanks Utah! If you're talking the salt lake area, I wouldn't want to live in the city itself. Youd want to be out in the suburbs. Nowhere from rose park to taylorsville. And redwood road to 700 east is a no live zone imo. Basically that makes a big square if you look at a map of just salt lake. Anywhere else north or south of the valley is hit or miss. Some neighborhoods super nice, some ghetto

Look in the Bountiful/woods cross/north salt lake area. 10 min north of downtown. Neighbor's house is for rent if you need help locating a rental.
