Loved this thread, making me think I should re-arrange my axles (again) and move the 10.3s over to my vs4...

Would you be willing to share the front link lengths you ended up getting built?

Thanks bro! I absolutely love the way the truck runs and it only keeps getting better as I do minor tweaks. Link lengths are listed below. I ordered mine from intheworksrc. I use the hybrid, stainless lower and aluminum upper, high clearance links.

Two SS 136mm, lower rear
Two SS 118mm, lower front
Two alum 130mm, upper rear
One alum 110mm, upper front

Track bar is 3mm OD stainless, 98mm long. I am using the G-speed Multi-point pan hard mount. It’s direct bolt on, works like a champ.

Great thread Lou. It’s enjoyable to see someone work and rework a rig. Seems to me it’s really what these things are designed for. I don’t have either rig you have blended here, but appreciate what you have put together.

How do you like the performance of the Injora tires? I have always been sceptical of off-brand tires so never tried them.

Thanks a ton bro, that means a lot. I have always been a tinkerer. What ever hobby it is, I keep trying stuff and tweaking things till I feel like I just can’t get it any better. This rig in particular has been a load of fun.

The injora swampers are actually decent. There are for sure better tires but these are tough to beat for the price. They seam to wear fast though. My plan is to replace them with Rc4wd Iroks.

Thank you so much! I'm already using the G-speed mount on another ar45p project, big fan!

UPDATE - So, I used my Biden bucks to buy a VS4-10 Pro kit... I decided to make this buggy a replica of my wife’s JLU Sahara. I’ll just keep tweaking it to get the most out of it and make it look cool.
