New Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix Straight Axle

I was just about to get a portal version and this came out. I then realized that all the locked up wheels I have will fit without a problem on the straight axles. Stopped by my LHS today and put the order in today. Definitely try to buy everything I can from them. Super excited to build my first vanquish truck.

That would be a good choice imo. Much like the pro/ultra, I feel like there’s added value in the straight axle kits, aluminum bearing retainers, 90mm shocks, etc. plus I just like straight axles better.

I got mine today, only issue so far is now I need a reverse rotation motor and not to be cheap. Now I get to wait to drive it (because it’s 3am).

What motor esc combo are you running? Almost all motors can be switched with esc tuning or swapping wires?

Stock Axial from my SCX10.2, and I got everything to work fine. My comment was meant as I need to upgrade to a nice brushless system. I love this kit it works amazingly.
