Thanks. Too much, but it didn't sink the shocks as much as I thought. It being my first I thought what the hell something different. The design was for a working tailgate with actual latches much like a 1:1. I was even thinking about one like this, but then I realized it wouldn't survive roll overs. I should have changed the design but I didn't, I could make the same tailgate with very little added weight. These first three builds will give me the experience needed (hopefully) to build a competition level crawler, just don't know what class to do yet. I have no desire to compete I would like to build the best crawler I can. I think I like building more than crawling, but that is fun too. Just need to find some places with good rock around here.

Thanks. It could have been cleaner if I had changed the design. If done again, I will use a much simpler design, less weight and screws. But I'm happy with it.

Thanks steve! Its a vs4-10 chassis, the rear servo mount is a VP one that, iirc, came from a vs4 chassis kit. Vfd twin trans, f10 portal front axles, VP red 105 1.9 wheels, PL hyrax 4.75 g8. HK outrunner motor, HK 35kg direct power servo.

Ordered 2 more of those servos last night. Theyre on sale right now for $27, heres the link...

Think im goina run a mamba micro x2 in this one. Waitin on axial to ship the scx10 pro body. Ordered one when they went on pre order. Havent decided if ill lock out the o/d n dig, or get some nsdrc micro servos

Actually I do, after I finish my flatbed I intend to build a comp level truck. Incorporating 4WS, don't need measurements but let me know what problems you run into. Also would like to follow the build, if you want post updates in this thread.

That's funny, I just saw this post on the F-Book earlier today! I see it! Your secret is safe with me!!

I also saw the NATE DOGG plate and thought about our very own @Natedog here on RCC.

I've got an order out with them too, but haven't seen mine posted yet.

I know you know which ones they are or should. I saw he posted mine yesterday, and received a e-mail conformation at 3:17 am. Working late I guess. Yours should be coming soon I ordered mine the 14th so you can gauge from that. I don't do facebook but I was trying to figure out the status of the order. I decided to click the facebook icon for the hell of it and ended up there. I was able to view what batches were finished and finally saw mine, if I clicked on anything the sign in or make account page popped up.
