While i realize that this wont be everyones cup of tea i finally found the rims for this project. Scale 22" American Forces!!! Actually what we have here are some SPI racing 2.2"x1.5" Outlaw rims with some j concepts center caps. Planning to drill and tap these aluminum rims for some scale 8 lug hardware and some nice scale hubs. They are wide offset too so they fill the fenders out perfect. So stoked. Plus they were $55 for four rims!

Amazing work! I have 3 full size Jimmy's, two pickups and two suburbans. I love my little ascender and plan on at least doing a painted to match one at some point. But your level of detail and accurate design of parts to match the real thing is blowing my mind. Keep it up!

I went through your entire thread last night. You've done an excellent job! I would like to convert mine to leafs but would be afraid to even attempt most of the things you have accomplished.

Thanks. Well it took a big step in the wrong direction tonight. Tore the front back down to the frame. I never did like the front setup and i have to make room for the battery so i have to go back and rethink the front end and do it right.
