Default Servo location

Sorry if this question has been asked before. Why is the stearinrg servo on the K5 Blazer mounted one way and on the other trucks (C10 & Bronco) a different way. It's the same chassis and front end. You would think they would be all the same way.

It's due to the floating battery tray. The link length up front is shorter on the K10/F100/Bronco and the battery tray won't clear the servo if it's not turned sideways.

That and the center skid/tranny location and suspension links all affect the servo positioin and clearance of servo horn etc.
