| Re: Kincer's new to me Bronco Ascender All you guys helped, I had it in the back of my mind to check over these kind of things, I had no plans to check that though lol, I did all the normal things that you do when you set up steering but it just wasn’t adding up and like I said it wasn’t much of a difference but it bothered me.

Any wheels you pick will look awesome. I love broncos. Black matches, silver picks up trim accents and white is classic. I don't know what upgrades you plan on doing but following Nate's guide will get you dialed in. I put the GCM motor forward kit in mine with codyboy axles and it is a force to be reckoned with. It will go anywhere. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

I got my steering figured out, if you buy a used Ascender and it has the short wheelbase make sure it has the 30mm draglink not the 38mm, I made my own to correct the problem, I now have great steering both directions. |

Couple others had same steering problem, great job making your own steering link! I see there's a hammer handy in case of emergency. |

I see there's a hammer handy in case of emergency. Thanks for the inspiration, this gave the idea for the little signature below my screen name, I've been trying to think of something to put there for a while lol |

Bronco looks great! One day when I grow up maybe I'll be an Ascender guy too. I would definitely have to go with the old school bronco even tho I'm a chevy guy. I think yours would look awesome with some white old school rims.

| Re: Kincer's new to me Bronco Ascender I really like the short wheelbase, it's different how it crawls over things, basic white steelies and Bfg A/T's are on the Xmas list |

I like the Bronco body, Vaterra did a nice job on it. Don't see too many of them, the K5 steals all the thunder. |

| Re: Kincer's new to me Bronco Ascender I originally was going for the 68 F100 truggy but this popped up in Rcc for sale section with a couple minor upgrades over stock for a good deal, I'm glad I found it, you are right you don't see many of these. |

Got my shock sleeves on the rear shocks this evening and am happy to say it made a noticeable difference, hopefully i'll get the front shocks done this weekend. I still don't really fully understand how this shock mod works but it does work. I don't think i'm gonna bother with the sway bar now, for what i'm gonna use the truck for it's way better than before and i'm very happy with the results! Thanks to Rich for coming up with this!
