Anybody know if there will be a kit version? I hate getting RTRs cuz I already have all vehicles on one radio and I like to have my own electronics

You guys should know better. Everything gets released as a RTR first. As long as the company isn't named Traxxas it comes out as a kit at a later date.

I am just guessing, but I think you "kit guys" are whining for nothing.

Perhaps, but why should we pay extra for parts we don't need/want?

I like a kit just as much as anyone, but sometimes a rtr may be the only option.I started this hobby in 1985 and everything was a kit.I have to admit when i got a Traxxas Nitro Sport that was rtr i was stoked to go from box to break-in in a short amount of time.In the late 90's a rtr meant you still had to paint the body, which i liked very much because it didnt look like all the rest.Even though its rtr, most people still tear into them to make changes or upgrades.I like this new rig and will get one as soon as available.

We will be doing these up in the Salvage Yard for sure. I am not sure they will do a kit, seems they always to race rollers, assembled no electronics. I would not expect that anytime soon though.

Because you lack the patience to wait for a kit.

The price difference for the RTR is usually not that great. Stripping the stock stuff off and selling it will get you damn near to the same price point. Or you can just sit around and whine until the roller version comes out

I'm going with the rtr, ill take out the junk and use it in one of my other crappy rc's and let the grandkids play with that until it catches on fire, then make s'mores, fun for all. O yea that leaves me with a rtr to fix up the way I want it.

1. I have a multi model radio and it uses a spektrum module. hahaha

2. Entry level? I bet RPP's first shipment sells out in pre orders. No entry level person uses a Rpp pre order

Rtr is an easier sell then a kit. I would imagine in general mid level RC an rtr will out sell a kit 10:1 maybe even 20:1 which is why they go rtr and why there are so few kits available.

They are also well aware that if hardcore RC guys want one they will buy it. Rtr or not. Makes no difference.
