| Stop the Wobble...
I don't think it really detracts from actual performance, but the trailing arm flop/wobble is really annoying. It's just not right, and things like that tend to make me think too much. My first impulse was to shim the bottom shock mounts with O-rings, a trick I've used before. But it tends to add a little restriction, and I didn't want to restrict the buttery suspension of the TH. So I decided to use a 1:1 trick I've seen, wobble-stopper links. These hold the trailing arms straight w/o adding any bind or restriction. I knew I saved all these Losi Micro parts for a reason. This is a pretty simple mod, however it does require drilling four 1/16" holes, one in each trailing arm and two in the pan: Losi Micro ball ends, cut to length and epoxied into small sections of aluminum tubing. It's a low-stress part, so strength is not really an issue... |

Nice. It bugs the hell out of me too. The Mini Trophy ones I threw on mine don't wobble at all. Mainly due to the chassis mount end of the trailing arm having no ball.

Cool little piece of tech that said, I will never do it when you are driving it you cant see it do it only when you are cycling the rear suspension in your hand do you notice it I personally think that people are making too big a deal over it. It is after all a toy car meant to have fun with...... there is no safety issue with it that could cause a person injury due to failure |

Big Mike, nice idea. IMO the "wiggle" is a good thing. The fact that they can rotate a little I think can help keep them from hanging up as much on rocks. Might not be a huge help but to me anything to keep it sliding off rocks is a good thing. |

| Re: Stop the Wobble... Again?? Damn WTF is the deal? I'm loading images the same way I've done for like 2 years, since I switched from Imageshuck to Photobucket. Now in two different threads y'all are seeing my images upside-down. But they are all right-side up for me here. Weird.

Big Mike, nice idea. BTW pics are NOT upside down for me at all. Been seeing a few people complain about this, all is fine on my PC. |
