Default Basic battery question

I'm running stock esc and a HH 13T motor on my stock battery (15min) drive time and I bought a Speedpack 2S 30c 3 cell charge rate 4000mAh (35 min)
Question. Higher mAh means longer drive time? I'm guessing? I'm seeing 25-30c the higher the better?

I'm seeing a Venom Power 2S Li-Poly 25C Battery Pack w/Universal Connector (7.4V/10,000mAh)
[VNR15075]

Low Price: $99.99

I'm guessing this battery isn't going to make my truck run faster but typically going to run hotter?
Or does the esc control amps it uses?
I don't want to burn out my electronics with a high powered battery ya know....

I'm thinking a : Dynamite SpeedPack Gold 2S Hard Case 30C Li-Poly Battery Pack w/Deans Connector (7.4V/6000mAh)
[DYN5304D]

Low Price: $72.99
Would be sufficient and safe RIGHT?
Thanks guys!!!!

I've never paid over $20 for ANY battery.
Hobby grade stuff from Hobbypartz or hobbyking and the occasional
eBay purchase have yet to fail me...

That's a hella good price. Most are 40-60C while the premium ones are 25-30C. What does that mean?

Mah is the runtime, C rating is the flow or punch that the battery can deliver. Higher C = more punch and usually higher price.
I have been using 2200mah 3S Zippys and Turnigys for years in my crawlers , at about $15 each I dont get too stressed if they puff or go bad.
The batteries you are looking at there will be too big and heavy for the TH , if you want more runtime get a few 2200mah and carry a few spares. Check the battery dimensions before you buy as well, there isnt a ton of room in the TH.
I usually go for a 20-30C rating, price to performance is usually pretty good.
Just make sure your ESC can handle 3S too, I'm pretty sure the standard one will fry on 3S.
ZIPPY Flightmax 2200mAh 3S1P 30C
For a 2S try something like this
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._2S1P_45C.html
These fit OK in the TH.

I run these in my TH, ZIPPY Flightmax 2200mAh 3S1P 45C (USA Warehouse). They are a snug fit and I also had to dremel out part of the battery tray for the to clear the wire. the batteries work great.

Here's the battery I'm using.
I got almost 3 hours with one at the G6 last week. I'm running a brushless system that helps get more run time.

I'm going to try this battery. Do i need to solder on connectors. What extra connector do I need to connect to twin hammer?
Thanks

It comes with an xt60 connector.
If you are going to keep the connector on the battery you,ll need a male xt60 connector for the TH.
Otherwise you'll need a female version the stock connector for the battery. I forget what they are called.

That could never happen. However, you could burn up the esc with a low powered battery depending on motor demand.
