Default Desertmaxx's Dual Hammers

picked one up off a member on here. havent got it yet, but should be here within the next week. really excited to finally have one. my whole goal for this, is to have it the most tuned, fun basher/scale crawler ever. the parts i am planning on putting are listed:

- rc4wd king 100mm dual springs
- rc4wd ultimate scale silver 100mm
- rc4wd 1.9 hitman wheels
- blue monkey dual shock mount with link
- vanquish titanium upper links
- axial exo light bar, radiator, hood, and roof
- scx10 medium springs for the front
- chaotic crawlers carbon fiber front shock mount
- aluminum knuckles and c hubs for the front
- and throw down some custom paint (probably by rockthrasher)

parts already have:

- castle sct esc with fan
- tekin ROC 412 3100kv
- savox steering servo
- waterproof hitec mini shift servo
- front locker
- front and rear swaybars
- proline 1.9 super swamper TSL's

will post pics as soon as i get it.

How do the rc4wd scale aluminum shocks work with no oil and no spring? Sorry I'm a newbie

I see. I did research and found those shocks to be too stiff. The front end on the TW is super light. Might rethink those shocks or prepare to cut the spring inside and remove O ring.
Let us know how they perform. THUMBS UP

this rig is a beast. i've driven it so much, i still havent posted pics. i will shoot a video, just for you guys. when i got it, the shift servo was siliconed to the tranny, so that has to go. i going to bend up some metal for the mounts. its nice it being a 1.9 because i have 6 different tire/wheel choices. so far though, the trepadors are the best.

Sorry, I had to vent - hearing these stories re-ignites my anger EVERY time
grrrrrrrrrr
no, mine has a hitec mini servo, so the stock mounts wouldn't work with it. the guy that had it before me siliconed it to the trans, not horizon hobby. maybe i have gotten lucky, but i have beated the snot out of this thing the past week and it just keeps chugging along.

awesome little truck. it took alot of abuse over the course of the week and a half. the main gear in the tranny is finally seeing its last couple minutes. lots of chattering, slipping, the whole nine yards.
