Default Chattering front end

When I run a locker in my front end I get a lot of chattering when the steering is a at full left/right. It doesn't do this when the locker is removed and is filled with diff fluid.
Any ideas??

With the fluid filled diff the outside tire in the turn can spin faster than the inside tire when you turn.
By locking the front end you are causing both wheels to spin at the same speed and that will make it jump at full lock steering.

Is this because of the use of CVD's on an independent front end? I never noticed this on my SCX-10.
Is there a fix for this?

The stock dog bone set up has more room for movement than cvd's, but not as much steering.
The only cure is an open diff which is no fun to me if you're crawling and the only time I notice is testing in my shop.
Running loose surfaces like dirt you really shouldn't notice it too much.

Believe it or not, it's normal for the TH. The CVDs have only very limited angular range and when you approach the limit, It sounds and feels like the thing is coming apart. Adjusting the steering lock will help keep it in the sweet spot but it also reduces the turn radius obviously. The locker makes it more obvious but they all will do it near full steering lock. It's just one of the pleasant gifts Vaterra gave us on the front end of the TH. A real bummer.
