| Newbie - motor question
Just bought my self a Twin Hammers kit. I'm sucker for good offers, and the buy was not planned. Since this was a spontanious buy, there's no money for electronics. I've got an esc and and a new 20t axial motor from a wraith lying around. Would that be suitable for the twin hammer? |

I run a 20T motor but on 3S. The Axial 20T won't last long on 3S. My RTR twin hammers came with a 15T I think. But it will definitely work. As long as you stay 2S. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk |

If all you plan to do is crawling, the 20-turn will be fine. If you are looking for speed I think you will be disappointed. I am running a 12-turn Losi brushed motor and it offers good speed at a budget price. The Traxxas 12-turn 550 brushed motor would also be a good candidate and would probably hold up better if you plan to run 3S.
