| ![]() Hi Friends, It's been a while since we launched the kit in USA in last May, we(Exclusive importer in USA/Canada, KMYGLOBAL, Inc. and CAPO Racing in China(Manufacturer) have been doing lots of work done to support CAPO JK owners and potential buyers for various Options and future models. We'd like to collect more opinions towards improving design and production quality control. Today, we're introducing the most recent Pro build by our friend, Tony Martino that will be helpful for the buyers who's planning to build soon or for the potential buyers. We'll continue to introduce new Options, new models and company direction in series. Thanks for your time reading this. Ken Lee Sales Manager KMYGLOBAL, Inc. 213-222-6151 klee@rcrun.com __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Hello All, A few months ago I came across a pretty exciting product called a Capo CD 15823 JK 4x4 kit. Capo appears to be relatively new company with just a few project under their belt. In addition to the JK, they manufacture a scale Tatra 8X8 and quite a few impressive accessories. After doing a bit of detective work, I was able to contact the distributor for Capo at rcrun.com and capousa.com. The owner of Capo USA was extremely helpful and provided me with great information before purchasing the kit. Ken(owner of Capo USA) explained that JK was a limited production kit and only about 70 were available for purchase in the US. The kit is quite expensive. Considering what I have spent upgrading 1/10 crawlers, I can understand the Capos hefty price. There is no need to purchase a lot of fancy upgrades with the JK. Below are a few details of what is included: 1) Die Cast Body (Body is finished in white primer and ready for paint) 2) Full Interior 3) Large 1/8 Scale 4) 3 Speed Transmission 5) Working Disk Brake 6) Ability to Shift from 4 to 2wd on the fly. 7) Cable Activated Differential Unlocking ![]() 9) Many Details Such as Spare Tire and Roll Bar Padding Included In addition, Capo is making quite a few options for the kit. Items include, lights, sound effects, working wench and other scale detail items. Since the JK has so many options, you need a high quality 7 channel TX to activate all of the features. You also have the option of going basic and using a simple 4 channel radio. This allows you to opt for a wheel controller or an RC vehicle specific TX like the Futaba T4GSR. A list of the required electronics will be included in the next post. But for now, I just want share a few images of my build. I also included pictures of the finished JK from Capo USA along with some details of the chassis and engine. Cool rig for sure. Is it supposed to sound like it has a engine? Or is that the planetary gearbox's normal sound? I really like the details of this rig and the size is also a plus. I just wish there was a less shelf queen version that you would be comfortable with driving off road in the mud and rocks. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk |
