Hey Rock Seeker, I haven't tried them with the blue monkey knucks. I am not positive but since they should work with a 425 hub they should work with shift hubs.

.

Send me a PM if you like we can work something out so you can send them back if they don't work for you.

I'm looking at getting another set."thumbsup"

winnerone23 05-05-2013 09:10 PM

These hubs are awesome.. I have been running them for over a month now. Slop from the pin to the hex an hex to the hub has been cut down drastically! Gives a very responsive feedback from throttle finger to rock.. great product!

Re: Presenting Shifts, Lightweight n' Flexible Offset Hubs

Has anyone mounted these on a Wraith with Mayhem Engineering Monster 2.2 wheels? Is it possible? I am totally new to fancy wheels and really clueless but intrigued by this design. :)

I know the Mayhem hubs get bolted to the wheels from behind so maybe this hub won't work?? I need a hubs for dummies lesson...lol

Re: Presenting Shifts, Lightweight n' Flexible Offset Hubs

You would have a hard time running the screws in from the back on these hubs. They are pretty small to save weight and the screw heads would not clear the pin hub area if you came in from the back.

Sorry Man

It didn't take much arm twisting to get you from "I'll never run pin style hubs" to "order placed"....

You won't be disappointed!

I'll give them a shot, great product from a great vendor. Hard to go wrong. Just have to get some good nyloc nuts." Mine will be RED. Looking forward on mounting them up on my SMW wheels with my VOODOO tires. thumbsup"

BC-Brian 05-08-2013 08:56 AM

Re: Presenting Shifts, Lightweight n' Flexible Offset Hubs

I haven't lost a pin yet, the locknuts help, plus a dab of blue loctite on the pin does a world of good.

And if that doesn't work, the first time you lose one at a comp you will be more careful from then on. :flipoff:

winnerone23 05-08-2013 09:01 AM

Blue loctite on my pins was exactly the route I went. I just had problems getting mine out to switch to ti axles.

Will the shifts fit on thses wheels?? I know the bolt pattern will fit. Not sure about the circumference of the hub and the cnc machined out part.

Thanks, John

winnerone23 05-09-2013 07:02 AM

That they will.. I have them on mine. They are the same old as the Slw hub.

Yup winner has it right. They will fit in there, you will just be missing the hub centric feature.

Got a set in the mail last week and just ordered a second set of Red with 6mm center holes for the 300hd and CreeperBobs. Very nice stuff, should have a couple of build threads up this weekend"thumbsup"

RcBro 05-14-2013 10:19 PM

Brian, machined some hubs with the pin slot down to 1.9mm to accommodate the lack of depth with my wraith knuckle and 300hd's. ill update my build thread shortly!
