Personally I love the 1.9 pbx a/t in the alien. I didn't think that I would like a smaller tire over the 1.9 rock beasts in the Komp Kompound, but the rubber has so much more traction.

I have been waiting for an updated compound since the XL were released. I really thought the RB in the Komp were the shyte, until I ran the alien. Now I am looking to replace the RB because I am no longer satisfied with their performance.

These are not the same as the 1.9 Rock Beasts in the Komp Kompound. These are wider (way too wide) and have the open lugs (I guess that's what makes them XOR). Basically we wanted exactly what you gave the 1.55 guys, but we wanted it in 1.9...

I don't know how a thread goes from introducing new products to someone thinking we are discontinuing something. The PB9003NK are still in production and probably will always be.

We have other tires coming out in the near future in different designs that will work for the 1.9 market.

I thought they were discontinued I couldn't find them on your site. I searched using the part number your provided below and they come up. I was confused because the photo shows the new XOR version. You might wanna change that...

I'm sure that you do and will. But you need to look at it this way, or maybe you don't. Some of us are not rubes looking for the newest and shiniest thing on the market. I am sure that introducing a new product generates a sales bump.

However your price point is getting up there. Personally I am willing to pay that price, especially when I got the PXB A/T and found that the foams were good. However I found a tire I like, a tire which comes up in ever conversation as one of three tires that are the best. I really don't feel like spending 90 bucks to try out a different PB tire when I know what I like.

So what is going to happen is I will go through the forums/internet and go through the whole search for pros/cons. The I'll end up buying something other then RB to replace the worn set. Right now I have 6 rigs with Pitbull, because of confidence in the brand. Let us hope that whatever brand I replace my RB with doesn't inspire that same confidence that I currently have with Pitbull. I have already seen some of the competitors out perform my Komp Kompound tires, so I know there are options.

You now have a better compound available, but have not updated a very popular product. Do you understand how frustrating it is to not have that available. Look I get that you can't have every size, pattern compound available. But, and correct me if I'm wrong, the RB 1.9 is one of the better sellers? I know when I am shopping they always come up top when sorted by popular.

Confusing move by Pitbull to not release the original 1.9 Rock Beasts in Alien compound, but rather go through the trouble of creating the XOR version first. Seems backwards to me, and a missed opportunity to sell a crapload of Alien compound Rock Beasts,. The market is flooded with 4.75"-ish tall tires, but I'm also seeing a trend where folks are wanting a little shorter for scale looks, and the original Rock Beast is perfect. Definitely scratching my head on this one. At least get the ball rolling now so that in 9-12 months we might actually see them.

I just went to pre-order and realized the 1.55 Rock Beasts are $39.99 a pair. Ouch! Glad I bought my 1.9's in the Komp compound, maybe it's better that they don't make them in Alien if they're going to be priced like that. Is the rubber more expensive? (Legitimate question, no sarcasm)

The PBX is a great tire. I'd like to see at least one more 1.9 size in them...Maybe 4.65" tall and 1.5-1.6"" wide?

I love my rb xl's they are by far the best tires I've spent money on. They are a bit over sized for my truck. I also got a set of the 1.55 growlers in alien while waiting for the little beasts to come out. Still think I'll have to get the little beasts for my other truck. Love the tires so much.
