I thought the same at first, but it looks like their links have two bends in them...making them look upside down.

This is good news.....I like Venom.

I think it looks like another good option. Tires are interesting

I'm surprised at how much torque twist it has with a double triangulated 4-link

I was hoping for earlier for the body & tires but below is the quick response I got this morning:

"I do not have an exact ETA, but from what I've been told they will be here shortly after Christmas. I will update you when I have a chance.

I know a lot of people upgrade wheels and adding your own weight isn't exacly rocket science. However, I still think it's cool that the stock wheels have a few weight options.

Those axles are sick... it will be interesting to see how durable they are.

Hey guys, my name is Chris N. and I'll be your Venom Rep on here along with Alex W. and we can answer all your questions. Thanks for the interest, we are very pleased to bring you this new crawler and all its features and we hope it satisfies your needs for competition and fun!

All the parts will be available, axles, wheels and tires, and the body will be clear + die cut as well. The axles are very strong and have held up to some serious punishment in testing. The tire compound is similar to an M3 comp since you guys are not familiar with our tire compounds yet. We wanted the softest tire compound and best grip we could offer right out of the box. These tires, Ridge Line, are true 2.2in tires (157mm X 55mm R2.2in) and are similar in size to popular tires your familiar with except now you have a real positive beadlock design or Beadlox as we call it. It goes together with fewer screws and in a few minutes you can change out the tires with ease and way less frustration! The wheels are one of my personal favorite features. You can add up to 1 pound of weight to each wheel for up to 4lbs of extra weight for some serious climbing stability. You can mix and match the weight sets as you like to tune your weight bias as needed and with the quick and easy Beadlox design changing out weights is not a chore!
Again thanks for the support and interest and we hope to see you on the rocks with the new Venom Creeper!

Best regards,

I want one,i was going to get an axial to go with my 2.2 clod, then i say the summit and thought? nah too much $$$ and not 2.2 wheels, but love the lockable diffs. But now the venom is coming out,i think i might go this way,and it comes in "GREEN ".
I liike it a lot,i wonder how much $$$ once landed in new zealand, imagine if it had the option of a 2 speed trans, rock racer heaven.
I allready got the DX6 ,can you have rear steer? we here in nz use rear steer, and love it.
VENOM GROUP WELL DONE i love it!!!

Yes you can use rear steer, just add another servo mount and linkages and your ready to go. With your 6ch radio you can have independent F/R locking diffs and F/R steering, the ultimate in manuverability!

The axles are 198mm from hex face to face.

For the US market its $229.99. I'm not sure for other markets at this time, see your local dealers for pricing and ordering info.

Welcome Chris and Alex, although it looks like you've been around for some time. It looks like you guys have been doing good research.

I love the wheel weights, I'm sick of dealing with stick on lead weights. Any plans for other wheel designs?
Are the axle skidplates molded into the axlehousings?

I'm bummed that I can't get one till after Christmas though, I was planning on buying my son a crawler for Christmas... Great work anyway though.
