| Miniwheelers Creeper with mods As soon as I saw the Creeper with the locking diffs I had to have one Everything in this kit looks to be top notch No missing hardware or parts,no problems with the little screws and no breakage problems so far. Specs... novack 55 with 14t pinnion Tekin FXR Dimension Engineering Sport ESC Jr Z9100t Proline Chisels on AX-10 wheels Nomadio sensor On to the mods.... Was not a big fan of the factory lockout for the rear axle, so while I was looking things over I noticed a pair of Fubar lockouts for Berg sittin on the bench and shure enough, fits like a glove! just a little file work on the inner edges where the lokcouts meet the C's I wanted more adjustment options for chassis setup so I made new upper shock mounts. In an effort to keep CG low I ran a steep shock angle to compensate I used 50wt oil and some stiff AX-10 coils I liked the way the battery tray tied into the upper tranny and to the chassis but the factory roof rack had to go. I like my battery placement low and up front so useing the straight rod ends from the rear lockout links I paralleled the front uppers to make room for a new battery tray. It now rides on top of the front driveline I made this little piece to roll the rear pinnion up and add some anti squat to the chassis to lessen torque twist. It helped some but the 50wt oil in the schocks did the most good To help the front of the tranny slide better I made this from the unused rear axle skid. It was cut down and reshaped with a heat gun and attached with a u shaped piece of aluminum. Im waiting on the diff locker kits and dig kit for the tranny before I make more changes, but as it sits now it crawls like a champ and turns like no other |

Sweet build. What type of battery are you using and where did you get it?

Nice mods. I would like to do something about battery placement but. I am running a 3c lipo. not sure what to do about that. Anyway did you notice a big difference from stock after your mods? |

glad to see this, been looking for some mods to do to mine, will take some of these ideas, can you say what benefit you get from having the shock body down instead of up? Looks like they are upside down, just wondering the benefit.

Always something good from those Hand Brothers. Good to see you working out the kinks. Nice score on the Fubar Lockouts (I'm sure Fubar will correct those minor issues). Keep us posted on the future mods. Thanks agian for the details. Ryan |

Thanks for the compliments and and kind words, its been a fun build Bigballer......I have more plans for the creeper Tanis...... Its hard to say just yet, not haveing dig and all. It does have good balance with the motor centered up front but the CG could be better for side hills. You can allmost make up the differance with the better turning it has over the tlt |

Thanks National champ Just Zach Was testing more today at Daves place trying some hard lines and snap! The lock pins ripped out the holes in the plastic carrier and one of the pins pushed out of the lock ring:-( This happened way to easy. The first time I put the front in a bind it let go. I think for this locker to work the one side of the carrier needs to be made out of metal and the fix for the lock ring should have shorter pins pressed into a blind hole so they cant push through. For now Im gonna try to make an AX-10 locker work, if not then its JB weld time for the spider gears and back on the rocks |

I seen this same failure with mine a couple weeks ago, the housing needs to be made out of metal for sure....I have been very rough on mine since this happened and have not had it happen again.

| Out of the box prolly one of the best so far As for trying to get the AX-10 locker to fit in the vennom diff... It works! I used the stock green locker from The Axial kit, you just have to tap the Vennom axle into the AX-10 locker the first time and then install 1 of the axle shafts to center the locker until a few of the ring gear bolts are snug. |
