Default Transformers Creeper

Has taken me long enough to post some pics. Pretty basic build for now but it's coming along.

Tekin 55T pro motor
Tekin fxr pro esc
JR 220oz servo (front & rear)
Castle 10amp BEC
Traxxas 5ch tx/rx
white dot Rovers
Crappy paint stock body (my first attempt)

Pictures taken at an torn down house's scrap pile. Louisiana is to dang flat!

Mashing on the Stampede and the X-Factor. This one was at a friend's house.

Looks cool....I'm guessing you don't comp since you are running a 2.2 with rear steer??
Nothing wrong with that, just asking.

Not comp yet but I do have lock outs for the rear. This area is pretty much dead to crawlers and the only rocks are at landscape stores. I'm just bashing and upgrading until the crawler and myself are good enough to comp. We are both getting there. I'm about to PM Thomas when Uncle Sam gives me my money back.

I have read almost every post you have on here since I'm a noob to crawling. I have never needed to ask a question since.

Going to need full skid, BTA when you have them ready, and the rear axle plate. Also considering the chassis. Any advice is most welcome from you or anyone here!

A few new picks from today. Had to shut it down early. Rear steer was making it roll and since I weighted my tires, TT is HORRIBLE! Going to start fixing as soon as I'm done here.

one thing to plan for is that youll have to turn your servo around...servo horn toward the chassis and the horn will have to go up instead of down. you may have reloacte your shocks to the lower link tabs too so the drag link will clear.

Well, not sure what I'm going to do with it but I picked this Creeper up tonight. It has a tenergy 55T hand wound motor, RC4WD Mud Slingers, Rooster esc, 3600 mah stick pack, and a standard HPI wheelie king controller. 200 bucks for a RTC Creeper and not a single scratch on the axles, links, or tranny. Just couldnt say no.

Maybe if everyone who has a Creeper would send me one random part, I could make a Franken-Creeper to be the poster rig for this section.

Got bored today so I reinstalled my BEC and mounted my battery pack on the rear axle and added another 5oz up front to bring my balance back to 60/40. Went from 54 degrees to 60 on the 60 grit incline board. Can't wait to get my parts from RMDW to get rid of the TT. That should get me to 62-63 degrees.

i like it but i would say put the lead on the axle to get it even lower to get the roll center lower and that might help some with the tt and put some in the rims

I'm just waiting to tune it up when I get my RMDW parts in. I know it's going to change everything. I have 5.5oz in each wheel already, was just stacking to balance back to 60/40.

Calvin,,,weight distribution doesnt change the roll center. Weight affects the roll center yes but it doesnt change the point of roll, that is controlled by your links. The farther apart the upper links are the farther out your roll center is.

I wouldnt change any of the weights until you get the PDD Foams in and change your link geometry with the Creeper Link.

That's the plan. Will probably have to go back through several time anyway. If I still don't like it its Volture time!

Default Upgrade

Got the goods from RMDW! Will have to fine tune it tomorrow. Just waiting on a Vulture XR kit......

First time I have ever had it stand on edge. Old tire foams were too soft.
