I guess when life gives you lemons make lemonade. Nice use of the woods there. The youtube still before you press play had me fooled for a moment there. Looked like an airborne crawler I also have NO freaking rocks here( assuming you don't since your woods crawling) and have started down the scale path because of it. Nice vid

I have rows of rocks in the woods that are in the shape of a hump 8' wide, 4' tall, and 200' long where it was once farmed land. I don't have any really good outcroppings though. I've made a couple good piles and my one pile has prob 10 lines to the top and back down, ranging in difficulty. I like building crazy shit to crawl on but it's really hard not to end up with 1 line sections that get old fast for all the effort..

He said it's rare that people make comp, as in competition style videos.

Meaning that youtube is full of TERRIBLE non-scaler crawling videos. I.E.: Axial AX10 Scorpion at Japanese rock garden - YouTube (so bad, check it out and see how far this poor guy missed the point of his vehicle/venue). Youtube does have a ton of awesome scaler vids though. Unless you get on here, and even on here you have to dig, you don't find as many super good comp. style crawler vids. When you do, they are less into the production aspect and more into the driving, which is rad, but still in a somewhat different niche. I really liked your video that I just watched.

Honestly the rig in the video doesn't matter much to me, I like to see all the cool little trails and obstacles people build. I dig your playing spot

**edit** I just wanted the rock garden video, I laughed my ass off.

You've got some nice angles, but I'd like to see more camera movement besides the POV. If you're by yourself, ask a friend to either drive for you or film for you. Dynamic movement of the camera as it's capturing some great action from a sweet angle can highly increase the production value of your vid

Sweet course too

And if you want to see some sweet comp footage search for some of Nico's (the post above mine) vids. He's been to a lot of big comps and gotten some sweet footage.
