Buy you some 2.2 red rocks. They will fit on those rims with a little stretching, no glue needed. I bought one of those simply for the body and the rest I gave to my 5 year old daughter to drive. We put my old redrocks on there. You will actually get traction with them compared to the stock hard tires. It's cool it actually uses a clod type axles with smaller motors. Good luck with it.

Sounds fun! As long as you guys aren't hiding in the bushes with baseball bats

Lexington.....via Bluegrass Parkway (virtually no speed limit ), onto western ky parkway (the same?).....what is it, 2.5 hours? Not bad....I'll probably have to do it on a weekday(my wife's in clinicals right now, I watch the kids on the weekends), and maybe camp down there just for the sh*ts and giggles of it.....

I'll go buy some Red Rocks and a new battery and quick charger (I'm still stock 9.6v Nicd and 4 hour charger )this week sometime.......

Now, this is not a stock New Bright......it's a crawler...literally.....I could probably never compete with it due to the fact that it's got a permanent gear ratio of, like, 200:1 or something.....it's been sticked.....body has been chopped to h*ll......motors aren't stock.......but, it has nothing (with exception of the future Red Rocks and battery pack) that would be considered "hobby grade" on it.......so can we call 'er a newbright?

I like it, something different.

Its not hobby grade, but I bet it can out crawl some peoples rigs. Oh, and from what I've read, stay the hell away from Imex tires.

...then I saw this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hywkNvRQhNg

Smiggity-smack...that's pretty good

I'm surprised how serious my first post was taken...it was meant to be funny...I think I need to get you guys stoned

Here, just to show you how serious I take myself, this was one of the first videos I put together of the newbright...

That is how I took it.

1. You had to be joking simply by using a new bright.
2. Your words used made it pretty obvious to me.

I think what you have done with that new bright is awesome. It may be from walmart, but it works, and it seems to work pretty well. Isnt that what this hobby is all about, making due with what you have, and seeing how well you can make it perform? I remember when this site first started, and no one was producing crawling parts yet, most every truck on here was booty fabbed in some way or another.

If they dont like your truck, fawk em. Its yours, and it works, so thats all that matters

I cant wait to see what you can do with hobby grade parts
