Default HobbyTown in Virginia Beach

FYI, HobbyTown in Virginia Beach is building an indoor course. Any of the locals should stop by and check it out. As of last night, the obstacle was still in the building phrase. Hopefully this week, Noah will give me a call when it's completed.

BTW, 3 more AX10 kits were sold this weekend. Hopefully the word is going out about VARCOR and RCCrawler.

Guess I will have to make a trip out that way sometime.

It has been a long time since I have been to that hobby town.

Crawlers in my area FINALLY!!! just met noah and got a chance to check out the track, very nice. I will tackle it with my scale build with no drag brake. Whatever if I tumble all the way down, I bet I will be the best looking doing it. Sorry for the pic, just wanted to show you what your up against. Oh Yeah Pea size Fish tank GRAVEL would be cool for traction, different sizes too.

my car audio back ground we used fleece from wall mart it has to be 100% nylon---- or close, the resin will react with the fleece and almost turn into plastic

with that said the clocth is not really important and the resin i can get in 5 gallon buckets I'll check on the price.

So how many of you guys used to run nitro with Noah and Paul? We used to run out at Trashmore until they started up the little track at London Bridge. I had an LST forever and then bought a Baja when everyone else did. Only lasted about a month though.

R/C is about the only thing I miss about VA.

gotsig79 this is paul. i see you are thinking about my fleece idea. lukebuffington knows how well it could work. just do it on something small you will like the out come. don't use clitty litter use large grain sand or fish tank gravel for more grip. you can even sand some key spots on the run and re-coat with resin again for a smooth finish and there for less traction in-turn adding more dimension to the course.

Made it down to the Va. Beach hobbytown today. Are you guys talking about the deal in the back corner? Looks like a 4x8 sheet of plywood with a few obstacles on it?
