They're charging $ to run on this rock pile?

Why would we PAY to run on a pile of rocks and sticks when there are so many REAL places to crawl?

It seems like your doing enough for Hobbytown by running comps there and giving them a opportunity to increase their sales from us putting on a show for everyone coming in on Sat. to see. Not too mention all the parts thay sell to us.

Seems like they should be paying us to comp there

Ha ha... well you've got a valid point there. I don't mind the $$$ cause it's close to where I live and I probably spend more on gas driving elsewhere. It's also nice not to worry about what the weather is doing as well. Part of the entry fee goes towards trophies at the end of the series that the owner of the store will be giving out. I can see how the $$$ could be a big deal for some people though.

Trophies, why didn't you say so. I like bling

Seriously, I doubt anyone who spends what we do on these rigs cares about the entry fee. Quite the opposite it's more the point of being nickle and dimed.

hmmm maybe I can do two days in a row of crawling, we'll see, it would be fun, but I feel the same way about the entry fee...

Here's the results from event #4. I have highlighted everyone's highest event score in yellow and have dropped that score from the total so far. If everyone could double check me on their total score and let me know if there are any problems before the last event #5 it would be appreciated. The last event in this first five will be April 3rd.

Well the king of hobbytown lakeridge crawlers has been named in the first series of five!! Congratulations to Chris W. for taking 1st place in sportsman as well as comp class. The trophy ceremony will take place at the start of the next series on April 17th. The schedule for the second series is:

April 17th
May 1st
May 15th
May 29th
June 12th

*scoring will be done differently in the next series as points will be awarded for 1st, 2nd etc. instead of overall course totals as had been done before in the first series... more details to come on the new scoring system.

just realized I forgot to re-number the order after sorting the scores which only affects 6th and 7th place in comp class so Allen finished 6th and Mike 7th
