Default Great Falls Virginia Crawling

Hey Guys, it seems to me that there is a decent amount of rc crawling interest in and around Northern Virginia. Yet there doesn't seem to be alot of comments (I've searched) on Great Falls Park, looking at the pictures on Google Images of this place, it looks like a crawlers paradise. Is there a reason for lack of interest in this place that I may have missed? It's pretty easy to get to in my opinion, from the beltway as well as, Tysons, Vienna, Mclean.
I'm thinking of going out there tomorrow morning and checking it around 9ish or 10ish. If anyone else is interested post up here.
Let's see if we can get some people together. I know you're out there, I'm aware of VARCOR and the guys out at Lakeridge HT

I'd be up for checking out Great Falls too. I also wondered why there isn't that many get togethers out there. Got your message too late though . Let me know next time you head out there.

I can't make it. Let us know if there are any good spots so we will have somewhere new to go to.

I know, I know. I have my trusty XC running if anyone else is bringing one out.
Did I mention it's running on 13.2v now?!
Muah ha ha ha.......
What day, I'll see if I can make it out.

I'll bring one of mine out.

Here are some pics I took last year of the area I'm thinking about. It's got the best scale terrain for any size rig. If you take a look at the map of the park Sellenk posted, you can see how far the dam is in relation the the closest parking lot.

Hit up varcoffroaders.com. That is where all the comp and gtg info is posted. What type of truck are you driving.
