Welcome to VA, VARCOR is having a comp in Fredericksburg this Saturday, here is a link to the sign up thread. There will be a few scalers there that will GTG after the comp.

Welcome. Go to VARCOR as chris said. There is a hobby shop up rt17 called awesome rc, they don't do much with crawlers/scalers. There are also two hobbytowns in Woodbridge and Manassas that also do not carry many crawler/scaler parts. The scale scene was dead for a while but is now starting to grow in a better direction as is the comp scene. I live approx. 30 minutes away from Fredericksburg.

The hobbytown's that i posted earlier have closed up their doors. However in speaking to the owners of them there will be one opening in Fredericksburg but I do not know when or where at the moment.
