RCRNV tough truck challenge February 8

Alright guys....I have seen several videos on YouTube of R/C tough truck challenges and look like a blast. We are a local radio control club that has been holding races for several years. We have just recently gotten into the scale truck and crawler scene. We usually have 12-14 guys show up every weekend for scale runs.

We we will be holding the tough truck challenge in Woodbridge Virginia. I will post up exact directions in the upcoming week.

Events will consist of
Mud bog
Hill climb
Obstacle course
Tug of war
Axle snapper run

We plan to run
1.9 class
2.2 class
Unlimited class

Points will be awarded for each event with the point from all the events being totaled at the end of the day to crown the top three winners in each class.

There will be trophies and gift cards for the top three in each class.

$10.00 per truck and you can run as many trucks and classes as you wish. For further details stay tuned to to us post or email me at Rcrnv@yahoo.com

Heck yeah Chris! Love these type of events, let me know if you need any help building the courses as I'm fairly close by.

Just curious what's the unlimited class you speak of?
anything goes as in slash/savage/clod/bigger wheels than 2.2 etc..?

anything goes as in slash/savage/clod/bigger wheels than 2.2 etc..?

There will be a 1.9 and a 2.2 class. The unlimited class is what ever you want to run...I plan to run my Emaxx in it...there are only a couple rules
1 it must be electric
2 it cant be a real truck...HAHA

I didn't see your post until today. This coming weekend we will be at my house Saturday and Sunday to get prepped for the TTC the following weekend. We will be out there at 10am if you want to come by either day or both days. We have been going to PWFP the last 2 weekends and it has been a blast. There is all kinds of stuff to get into down there. I will keep you posted on when the next time we go will be.

Hey Allen

It has been a long time. We just started back into the scale trucks about 3 months ago. We have go out every weekend and mess with them. We usually have a group of 8-10 that go out with us. We have had as many as 19 one weekend. The Tough Truck Challenge is going to be a lot of fun. Spread the word to the guys out in your area about it. Hopefully you can get someone to cover for you so you can come down and join in.

We set the courses up this past weekend. It's going to be a blast. They go from mild to wild. Hope to see you there.

hello on the rocks, saw your post of a ttc this weekend and was interested, im in Wytheville va I went to a camel trophy event in Winchester that va scaler had last year, it was great! would it be ok if I came to your ttc? if so I would need some directions I used to live in Dumfries va and worked at skips junk yard but its been a while since ive been up there.. thanks..
