Hey if you guys have cool crawling spots, and can post up some details (pics greatly appreciated) with a google maps link, or GPS coordinates, that would be great. We have a where to craw section on our local forum at warcrc.org, and are always looking for new spots.

hey guys i am in oak harbor. frequent deception pass at least 4 times a week. The rock quarry at walkervalley is ok too. Usually just hit that up with out there trail driving. Anytime you guys want to go out or get to deception pass let me know. or check out warcrc.org lots of good guys to hang with over there.

Nice. Looks like some good places. The walker valley quarry is cool. I go bike riding up there pretty regularly.

I need to go hit up deception pass ASAP!

There is a comp, you can check out it. Great group of people and there are openings from novice,2.2 and super even 1.9 class. Check it out here and it is real close to Mt. Vernon. http://warcrc.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5081

I was thinking about checking this out. What time do they start? That is the only thing I never saw anywhere when I was looking as a start time.

Thanks

today at mukiltio (spell check) was my first comp... i got a 38dnf, 38dnf, 36dnf... to be honest i sucked but i had a great time. met alot of new people and even score a body clip off someone when i lost one in the rocks

anyhow, i learned alot abot my truck today. hammers with memory foams kinda hurt my score but that was minor. shocks are a bit to long so im going to pick up so im going to pick up some revo big bores.

lessons learned... till next time!

Looks like there isn't much traffic here but I figure I'll give it a try. Just got into crawlin and I am tired of crawling by myself. Any of you guys in the Bellingham area want to meet up let me know. I have found a few pretty good places in Bellingham limits.

Default spot in mount vernon

Its about a 10 minute hike from the road but its worth it. Just make sure you bring extra batteries and some spare parts.
This is where we usually start.

There is a trail that leads up to the top

Then once your at the top you could spend 3+ hours up there and not hit the same spot twice

Do you have a address, directions or something that would get a guy there ? I am headed up to bellingham on Monday and it would be cool to check this place out.

from i-5 take the WA-538 E / COLLEGE WAY exit-227 head east on college way, take a right on 9 to big lake, take a right on mt. vernon big lake rd. there is a short gravel road parallel to this road park there and walk up the road to the gate on the right, follow the trail and have fun
