Default Fairmont Area?

Anyone from the fairmont/Morgantown area. I live in fairmont and work in Morgantown. I just picked up a clod crawler and my friend picked up a TXT-1. Just looking for good spots to crawl.

Atlanta is a bit of a drive no matter where in the state of West Virginia you live, especially the northern part.

Faimont & Morgantown aren't too far away from W. Pa. check out www.wpac-rc.com. Also there is going to be a GTG next Sun @ my shop, Raceway Hobbies in Smithton, Pa. You could take 51 or 119. About an hour drive from Morgantown.

I'd like to find some place great to run in Fairmont too. I live in the Pleasant Valley area of Fairmont. Any info would be great. I'm just getting back into RC after a long off period. I just ordered a ax-10 RTC which should be here in a couple days.

Thanks

Clark (SupermanWV)

Clark,
i have an axial with a 2 speed tranny and clod body (i got it from a buddy in AZ) its sweet, i need to put a reciever on and i am ready to go. I also have a MRC and am looking and getting a redcat super and make it a scale-ish H2. so i am ready for any terrain. once this water is gone we can maybe hit up some of these run off springs for some trail crawling. I am right off of exit 139 off of the 79. i think somewhere around Pricketts forts might work?
looking forward to crawling with ya.

Default pricketts fort is a no go

well recon near the fort shows nothing really worth the trip. the hunt still continues.

i need to find a place soon, i need to crawl!!!

i am building a NQD Tear Into jet boat so i can run some of these creeks. maybe that will keep my RC fix under control.

hey peeps hows it going?>
Timmahh from michigan here. down here working in Morgantown. staying in fairmont at a hotel. been out of the crawlers, but my long time friend, and work buddy and i are looking at getting a wraith when they are released next month.

looks like we ll be down here for a few week stints, then home for a few days. so looking for places to run and meet up with some peeps. my buddy is new to RC, but ive been around for the last 6 or 7 yrs now. i run baja 5Bs and had a few crawlers over the last few years. the wraith will likely re ignite my crawling drools. heh. our other work partner with is is also a part time rcer.

so just looking for places to go and waiste the off time at, and hook up with some peeps so my bud can get an idea of some differances in the crawlers. hes not a big online guy, so first hand experience is the best teacher.

any one doing any running this weekend? only RC i brang with me is my Duratrax DX450 bike which ive highly modified. but i only got one run, as i forgot to get a charging lead to charge the 2s saddle pack. its only got a deans end, no balance tap. no shop in the area has one available either. if anyone locally has one (4mm bullet with balance tap for 2s lipo packe) id be willing to buy it if available.

anyways, if your in the area and are going to run. shoot mea pm. i ll try to check back on the thread from time to time as well
