Gas prices might have people playing in their backyards.

| We had thought that we would have had several. We have a new guy going to try things in Eastern Ohio and WV. We will see how it goes. There are some gys up in Morgantown, and they go to WPAC sometimes. Here is the link to WPAC. http://www.wpac-rc.com/ |

| I don't live there anymore but I still work there. There's not many good places to crawl that are natural. Drainage ditches filled w/ rip-rap are your best bet. Here's one for you to try if you have'nt found it yet - go out Sterling Blvd. to Shaw Rd. take a left like going to Herndon. Look for Enterprise Dr. (I think) on your left. This road curves to the right after 100 yards or so, take a left into the parking lot at the point it starts to curve, and drive straight to the back. There's a rip-rap ditch there where I used to test my rig when I first started this madness in late '06. In Newberry at the poolhouse there's a few rocks to play on. Good place to test if you don't want to drive far. Hit Google maps and search for the intersection of Atlantic Blvd. and Severn Way (near Best Buy) look for the huge bakery there, beside/behind it is a huge drainage area with some good lines in it I've made. There may still be purple spraypaint outlining the lines still. There's a couple spots for you to try... |

I'll dig this one back up...I am from Romney (eastern panhandle) and I am RC-less right now and never have had a crawler though I would love to sometime soon. I was going to awhile back and lost track and didn't have the money (still don't really...lol) but I have a renewed interest now so I am back into research mode. |
