Hopefully change my scx 10 for the new ascender! Minus the Chevy body of course!

I've been waiting for someone to buy one so I can see it upclose and in action. If you decide to get one I'd like to hear your take on it. The only things I've heard is that the tires are kind of hard and the body is huge. I'm sure you'll sell off the body and Ford it up nicely . I'm fighting the urge to get one for myself!

The only thing holding me back is money! I have been keeping tabs on the ascender thread, its not without its problems but neither is axial. I am willing to bet they will be selling much more expensive hop up parts to fix the few weaknesses. I am guessing axial will eventually upgrade the scx platform with ar60 type axles, but I'm not too far into my scx I can't switch, and I think new people are going to be choosing the vaterra over the axial as well.
Although I would suggest people completely new to the hobby to go axial. At least till aftermarket and hop ups for the ascender catch up and the bugs get worked out.

New member from Madison! Started with an Axial SCX10 and I am building a TJ to slightly resemble my old 1:1 Jeep (In First Pic.)

Got a lot more work to do but I like the way its looking so far!

Its good to see some new blood in this forum. With this snow, I guess things may be pretty slow in here. I've seen plenty of people check in here and never come back. Make sure to keep in touch!

As soon as I can in the spring I plan on starting to organize more get togethers. We can always use some more ideas for areas to go close by.

Made from wrenches, not chop sticks.
