I think it is F'n awesome, for a comp crawler and for the sport as a whole!! Axial stepped up the game FOR SURE  I will own one!  who else will?? |

Weren't you the guy that always said "shafties rule" ? Wheres the loyalty, man  .I'm sure it will take the crawler game to a new level, but I was secretly hoping they'd come out with something scale related. I'd like to see Axial do an updated Bruiser/High Lift type of kit. They could dominate the scaler market, better and cheaper than Tamiya. Three speed, leaf sprung, hard body scalers....hell yeah! They would F'in rock that .Seems like they're just jumping on the MOA bandwagon... but that's just my 2 cents  .I guess a new style crawler just doesn't give me a chubbie  Last edited by TrailDawg362; 05-10-2010 at 06:05 PM. |

I'm sure Axial has more up their sleeve, one new release isn't a storm.  I hope for a multi-speed scaler too and something to compete with the slash 4x4- except with a solid rear axle |

I do bielieve he did say shaftys rule more then once or maybe twice. I sure hope the hype does not bite the xr10 in the ass like whaat happened to losi. From what I've seen, the Bergs/Bullies are the Cadillacs of crawlers. This new Axial rig might be a less expensive way to get into the MOA mix. Time will tell... |

I'm all for it. Already considering selling the AX-10 comp build, so I can fund one of these. RPP has them listed at $299. The only reason I never got a Berg / Bully, is because you inevitably need to mod / cover the axles, because metal sticks to rocks, instead of sliding over them. |

Good to know, T-Buck. The guy at my LHS that runs a Berg is always complaining about the motor and gear part of the axles hanging up.

I wonder if the For Sale section will be flooded with shafty rigs when this hits the market. Good news for those of us who want to build non-comp style trucks. I could always use another set of axles and a trans .

Yeah, I almost just put my ax-10 up for sale to preorder this, then realized if I just sold off the comp parts, I could probably build another nice trail truck. I'm sure there will be a surge in used parts as people make the jump to MOA.

The other option would be to just buy the XR10 axles and retrofit them to your current comp setup. Either way, I wish I had bought some stock in Axial .

I'm still waiting to see what the "FAST" part of their release will be. I didn't even consider a three speed scaler to compete with Tamiya...I was thinking a Short Course truck. Hmmm... But definitely, I am digging the XR10, if I had more cashflow I would definitely pick one up and turn my AX10 into another scaler. |
