Default Hello from Milwaukee

Been lurkin around for a while, finally made an account. I'm in milwaukee and I own a redcat, and a modded komodo thats all apart for painting. I like the crawlers, but i really like the trail trucks. My family and I Go hiking by the lake, we find all kinds of neat places to go driving, believe it or not the komodo isn't too bad. It has taken some pretty bad spills and came out just fine. If anyone wants to get together let me know. I'm new to trail/crawler trucks, but ive been into r/c for 20 years! I,ve got some pretty cool places to go driving, some easy some are life threatening. later guys.

Welcome!

I'm from up in central Wi, but I got family down in N. IL.

Be sure and put some pics up in the Wisc. Rigs section when you get a chance. Like to see what you're running and where.

Yeah the life threatening one was referring to the truck. I was driving down some stairs, got a lil bit bouncy and it slipped off to the side, and off a cliff. Hit three big rocks and landed in the river at the bottom completely submerged. My daughter fished it out and the only thing wrong was it lost the rear bumper. oh well! Growlinsax, I like to go to 7 bridges in grant park, You have the lake, steep ravines an lots of neat places to drive in. I'll post pics of my junk when I put it back toghether, painting the frame and the axles.

Sounds like something I'd do .
Be sure to post up some pics, without pics it's just a bunch of words and junk here!

Sweet. Hit me up next time you go. (Unless temps are still in the single digits!)

From Milwaukee as well. Just got into crawling about a month ago. A buddy and I are always trying to find places to crawl. I read the post about
the 7 bridges in Grant Park. Going to give that a try right after this post. And if there is time, going to drive a little more south and check out the Petrified park on Hwy 31 and 7th just outside Racine. Great idea posting
places on google maps.
