Default sportsman question

I've been thinking about doing another Sporty for the upcoming spring season. I've run it before and it was a lot of fun before everyone starting to disable the DIG on their comp rigs and ruining the intention of the class. I have a design on paper that would basically have a lockable center diffy inside of a transmission.

What would your opinion be on the legality of such a beast. It would not /could not have a dig function but it would certainly add a steering advantage by allowing the front and rear driveshafts to turn at different speeds then be mechanically locked for max. traction.

HA! I could make it completely mechanical, increased RPM would lock it up. I'll let Microgoat use one in his 3 wheeler.
