As long as your receipt is for two you are good.

I wouldn't be sure of that, they might see it as a mistake and refund one ticket.

I'd recomend making sure someone know's what you inteded to do, keeping in mind they may not see every post on this thread and miss your's.

I am curious to know how big of an event this is considered to be in comparison to other crawling events throughout the nation? I've been told this event will be very high up on the list and the expected turnout should be a few hundred people? I know very little about rock crawling, but am considering a webcast of the event. I need to know if there is enough demand for such a thing to validate the costs.

Also, I e-mailed rockpiledriver at his msn.com email address. I was told he is the person in charge of the event. Is this correct?

Thanks

Rockpiledriver is the guy you need to talk to. This will be one of the top 5 big events of the year in crawling. Doing a live webcast will be pretty hard. Unlike most rc races that are held at tracks with access to internet crawling events are held in remote locations where even cell phone coverage is spotty. Unless you have a satellite?

I am planning on using a Sprint card for the connection, although it is entirely dependent on if my friend will let me borrow it.

I just checked the coverage map for Sprint and it says "roaming" for the gray area. :x Although as far as I know roaming != no signal. If anyone has any better ideas or any aircards, I'm happy to pay for their full month of service if I can use it for the event (assuming it actually works).

This is the Verizon coverage. Red is good, white is no signal. :(

cell phone coverage

I know my cell phone (Sprint) has a hard time getting signal, has to be in roam and it is still only 1 bar if I am luckly.
