I like some of the changes, but for this year the location and more importantly the date should have been left like the last few years. Mosy of us have jobs and it hard (for me atleast) to say I need a week off 6 week from now.
Your question deserves a reply, but I can't answer the question because I have no input into the financial matters of USRCCA.
My duties are limited to the area of Rules, Sanctioned Clubs, and Qualified Drivers.
how much do you want to bet?I'd almost wager that it's more well known than any of the trails in Moab.
I think that the amount of effort required to run the LCQ the entry fee is justified.
You all have half, if not more of the people complaining about this entire deal. You have top named drivers, more than a few of them also, talking about quitting the sport alltogether just because of this move
Quiting the sport? Maybe they should! And while they are at it, they should should go wash their p*&sy! "thumbsup"
I don't think the "Judges" at a comp of this level should compete.
I remember when I was at the 07" Nats I judged the "2.2" Saturday then drove my "SUPER" on Sunday with the 2.2 drivers judging us.
Did you even read what he said.......I partnered with him judging 2.2's at that nationals. We didn't run 2.2, and when we ran super the judges there weren't running super.
Basically what it all boils down to is this.. You all have half, if not more of the people complaining about this entire deal. You have top named drivers, more than a few of them also, talking about quitting the sport alltogether just because of this move. Yet, you all are steadfast in your method, and don't seem to give a damn that a TON of people on RCC are raising hell about it. Pay attention guys, that many people bitching means there is something very wrong and needs to be addressed/fixed ASAP... If and when the top name crawlers start dropping out, it will have a major impact. People will see them quitting and then ask themselves, why should I keep this stuff up, if they're quitting, it must not even be worth it... My star is set to expire in oh, about 45 minutes. I can guarantee I won't be getting another one till I have been satisfied that this place has redeemed itself and its ways.. I know you couldn't care less about that, but it means something to me FWIW...
Quiting the sport? Maybe they should! And while they are at it, they should should go wash their p*&sy! "thumbsup"
Maybe it's a good thing we won't make it to Donner. Because I have a p*$sy, but you can bet I'm NOT a p*$sy. I'm not someone you want to meet after that comment!!
Get em Momma Bear!
Sounds to me like Chasinbaja is either a 14 year old punk, or simply to new to the sport to understand the consequences of his statement.
Quiting the sport? Maybe they should! And while they are at it, they should should go wash their p*&sy! "thumbsup"
You've just managed to insult one of the nicest lady's your likely to meet in this hobby and pissed off a whole lot of people in the process. "thumbsup" Take my advice and keep your post count low till you know what the f your talking about.
When you have dedicated as much time, energy and money as she and her family have you might have some concept of what she's saying
Maybe you should go suck what most people stick in what you are talking about washing."thumbsup" All of the travel, getting up at 2-3 in the morning to be at comps 3-4 hours away to chase points series, going to the big events 900-2100 miles away and spending 1000-3000 bucks doing so 3-5 times a year and then you find out that what you worked for all year just got yanked out from under your feet. There eventually comes a point when you have to say it is not worth it and move on or just start running local comps and have fun.
So all I can say to you is screw off.
That is a much gentler response then I expected.
Joe, I am on your families side with this. It is hard to try and qualify for something and then find out that it has been completely changed.
The locations of finals should be announced at the beginning of the series. That way people who can go, will try their hardest and people will not be able to go, can just enjoy the year.
I also understand that this year has a series of unfortunate events. I hope the Worlds will be great, and then when we have the Worlds on the East Coast it willbe easier for you and yours.
