My Berg Rebuild # ?

Hey Joe seal up the chassis, befor putting it together you can run CA all over the chassis, I have 3 rc drift cars with CF chassis and all of them are sealed up make's them pretty much bullet proof. That will give it a longer life.

What's the weight on it now?

Well I have some new parts in the mail. With the new chassis setup, new Tires, and the new ESC's,new Radio, and New wheels in the mail I will be all screwed up for a while.

I will be all screwed up for a while.

That's the fun part. I spend half a season getting used to a new truck. Keeps me happy. Lately anyways. I used to preach the 'build it and leave it and drive it' mantra.

Soooo you went with the 4PK ?

Yeah I have one on the way to give it a try.Atleast with the twin ESC's being in the truck I know if comp time gets close and I am not comfortable with the 4PK yet I can just stick a bot reciver in and run my DX6.

I would like to think Brian for the 4PK without him I would not even have the chance to give one a try right now."thumbsup"

Your welcome."thumbsup"

you sell futaba?? didnt see it on your site. wish i would have known that before i ordered mine...

I can get Futaba stuff. If you guys don't see it on my site then send me a pm and ask me if I can get it. We are still adding and still are expanding our inventory. I have several distributors, but anything that Horizon, Tower Hobbies and a few others carry, I can get."thumbsup"

The big brown truck showed up yesterday and brought me some parts for the rebuild of my rebuild:)
I am still waiting on some other parts to show first of the week and I can get this thing finished and learn how to drive it before Crawlapalooza.
I will get the stuff I recived yesterday together and get some up to date pics today .

Well I have my new wheels and tires along with my new ESC's on the truck.
I went with the Tekin FXR's and something tells me I would rather have the extra size and weight of the CC stuff:-(I have everything run off my super radio now so I will wait until the 4PK shows up to make that decision.I just do not like how sensitive they are to throttle response I guess I am spoiled with the throttle curves and punch control of my Mamba Max and Sidewinders.

I would like to thank Steve with Vanquish products for supplying me with some really cool wheels.I must say the machine work is top notch."thumbsup"
For the front I chose the DH pro comp wheels because I really like how fast you can adjust the weight.I can go from 10oz-16 ounces in just a few seconds.I must also say the bullet weights look awesome.
It will take a little getting use to the wider track width I now have in the front about 10 5/8 but I think I can do that.
For the rear I went with the SLW VP wheels so I could have a really light weight aluminum wheel.I received them in 1.35 and 1.0 widths.I think I am going to like the wider wheel better. It seems like the rear does not squirm as much.I have all the different offset adapters for the SLW wheels and can get down as narrow as 9.75 but I settled on about 10.125

Looks great Joe. "thumbsup"

Have you updated the ESC's yet? With the update and the adjustment on the radio, mine are really smooth.

When you get the hotwire to work for you, you'll see a big difference on the start-ups with the updated software. Night and day"thumbsup" Rockcrawler enlightened me on this several months ago.

Lookin good Joe! The body looks slammed on there.

Let us know how you like the FXR's once you egt them lined out. I've been thinking about making the jump to them as well.

You can really get the Axial body low.I could have even mounted it lower if I would have shoved it foward about 1/4 but was not paying attention. In the pick it is sitting that low with 3.5 GC:shock:

I am going to try to jack someones computer and get the update. As soon as I do I will give a update on them.I must say I hope I can get them to work because they are tiny and have kick ass drag break.

I have the hot wire but it will not work with my computer.:cry:What are you adjusting on your radio?

Well thats the problem. :-P The update makes a huge difference. "thumbsup"

You can adjust the expo.

What computer do you have Joe?

Looks mighty nice Joe."thumbsup"

I am a little biased, but you are right, the VP wheels are probably some of the cleanest wheels out there. I'm anxious to see how this new set up works for you.
