Really it was a hangnail, the original wound was in '04 I was buiding a demo derby car, getting it ready for the wifes race the next day, smashing the fenders up with a sledge, slipped, and shoved the hammer with my ring finger and pinky though the jagged metal.

Every 3-4 months the nail starts fall off from the top down. Funny thing is it always seems to happen just before a holiday:?

I have talked with doctors about having the nail killed and permanently removed as its always cracked and bleeding. But it's not covered by my INS and its not exactly cheap
